A mother slept on the icy floor, with the worn-out coats of her children as her only blankets. The children eat from worn-out paper dishes, basking in the silence of their reality.
This family has a daily reminder of their current despair. The home, if one could call it that, is a symphony of emptiness. The rooms are void of any comfort, and the cold, blank walls create echoes of existence.
Each morning for this mother and her family is a battle against time, trying to muster some sense of normalcy amidst her crumbling world.
This wasn't just one families reality; but the untold story of many within our community. Unseen, unheard, they battle their hardships in quietness, their pleas for help lost.
Each day, these families wake up to the same chilling reality: they do not have the resources they need.
How long before we extend our hands in assistance, before we turn their despair into beams of hope?
A Better Tomorrow
On September 17th, 2023 Jami Masjid Buffalo in partnership with Najam Institute is holding a community giveaway.
This event gives families in need items that they need to create their living spaces into home. Giveaway items include, furniture, toys, tools and equipment, household items, small appliances and so much more.
Imagine the smiles on the children's faces as they receive their very own bedding or the relief on a mother's face knowing her family will not have to sleep on a cold, hard floor anymore.
Imagine the difference you can make in their lives, the dignity you can restore.
So, let's make a difference today.
Let's give them more than just hope; let's give them a home.

We are devoted to helping those in need by offering them the essential resources and support necessary for them to lead a more prosperous life. Our ongoing projects provides financial assistance to students from underprivileged communities. We specialize in creating an equitable society where everyone has equal access to quality education thus ensuring future wellbeing.
Our Vision
We strive to hold a variety of outreach programs like, Open Houses with interfaith discussions, annual giveaways, clean-ups, annual BBQ’s, and neighborhood sports tournaments. We conduct nightly security walk of the surrounding areas to ensure residents are safe. It is our goal to welcome all our neighbors by keeping our doors open for them.
