Early Childhood and Foster Care - After the birth of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), he was sent to a Bedouin wet nurse named Halima Sa'adiya. This was a common practice among the Arabs to have their newborn children learn the pure Arabic language and connect with nature by living in the outskirts. Halima's house was blessed with prosperity due to the company of the Prophet. While he was with her, two angels came and performed the first open heart surgery on the Prophet, cleansing his heart of any spiritual impurity and preparing it for prophethood.
